Accessibility Statement

Our target

Externum uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its accessibility target for externum.dev. This statement describes an ongoing commitment and does not claim full conformance. A qualified accessibility audit has not yet verified complete conformance across every page, browser, device, and assistive-technology combination.

Measures in the current website

• Semantic page landmarks and heading order
• Skip navigation and keyboard-operable links and controls
• Visible focus indicators
• Text labels that do not rely on color alone
• Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and phone
• Reduced-motion behavior for visitors who request it
• Readable contrast and scalable text
• Explicit labels for temporary artwork and media placeholders
• Disabled forms that clearly state they do not submit information

Known boundaries

Temporary labeled media containers will remain until approved artwork is supplied. External and third-party websites—including Tiles Legacy, Discord, Stripe, and linked game destinations—operate independently and may have different accessibility support. Externum welcomes reports about barriers encountered on externum.dev and will also try to identify the appropriate route for concerns involving an external destination.

Accessibility can vary with browser, operating system, device settings, assistive technology, and content updates. Externum intends to test material changes and correct verified barriers as the site evolves.

Request help or report a barrier

Email hello@externum.dev with “Accessibility” in the subject. If comfortable, include the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, the barrier you encountered, and the browser or assistive technology used. Do not include passwords, payment-card information, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Externum will review accessibility and accommodation requests and respond through the available contact channel. Where possible, Externum will provide information in an alternative form or help identify another way to access the relevant content.

Assessment and updates

This statement currently reflects internal design, keyboard, responsive, contrast, focus, reduced-motion, and semantic checks. It will be revised after a qualified audit or when material accessibility practices change.

This is an operational draft. The scope and accuracy of any legal accessibility representation should be reviewed before public launch.
